What did Thomas Jefferson do after the Revolutionary war, What happened to him after the war ended?

This is my school project so I need this filled out by Wenesday this week.Which is 6/13/07. The question specificly is What happened after the Revolutionary War as a result of Thomas Jefferson’s action, OR what happened to this person after the war ended?

Well I know that when his wife was on her death bed she made him promise to never remarry. He never did, instead he took one of his slaves to his bed on a regular bases and fathers a few children or so.
