what are the steps needed to prepare pure copper(II) Sulphatee crystals?

copper(II) sulphate is a soluble salt

1. a measuring cylinder is used to measure 50 cm3 of 2 mol/dm3 sulphuric acid into a beaker. the acid is carefully heated.
2. a spatula is used to add copper powder bit by bit with stirring to the hot acid until some of it no longer dissolves.
3. the unreacted copper powder is remove by filtration. the filtrate is poured into an evaporation dish.
4. the salt solution is gently heated to evaporate the solution to obtain a saturated solution.
5. the hot saturated solution is allowed to cool for crystallisation to take place.
6. the crystal formed are filtered out, washed with a little cold distilled water and dried between sheets of filter paper.
7. recrystallisation is carried out to obtain pure crystals of copper (II) sulphate
